Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) lifted its fiscal 2027 AI revenue outlook to $115 billion from prior guidance of $100 billion and projected that figure to double again to $230 billion in fiscal 2028, a number that cleared Citigroup analysts' earlier estimate of $180 billion by a wide margin.
The company acknowledged that fiscal 2027 demand is already running ahead of its own $115 billion projection, with supply the binding constraint for that year.
For 2028, Broadcom said it has secured the capacity needed to meet the outlook. The order book fills in the rest.
Anthropic is set to become Broadcom's largest customer in fiscal 2027, with the frontier lab planning to deploy 5 gigawatts of TPU version 8i that year, scaling to 10 gigawatts in 2028.
