Dallas Cowboys cornerback Cobie Durant left Sunday's 37-20 victory over the Washington Commanders after safety Markquese Bell stepped on his groin and buttocks while he was down in the end zone.
The injury occurred in the second quarter as Durant defended wide receiver Terry McLaurin. Durant joined Dallas in the offseason on a one-year contract worth $4 million.
Before that, he spent four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. In 61 games with the Rams, he recorded 141 tackles and seven interceptions.
In the most recent loss to the New York Giants, he had one tackle and a pass breakup. The incident involved a throw from Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Daniels threw the ball over McLaurin's head.
