A legal talent transfer out of the Trump administration, months in the making, is now measurable in court filings.
A Fox News Digital review identified well over 100 former federal attorneys who left government after January 2025 and have since appeared in Democratic state attorneys general offices or on litigation records.
That cohort is drawn from a larger pool: employment data analyzed by the New York Times indicates more than 10,000 federal attorneys, approximately one fifth of all government lawyers, have exited since the second Trump term began.
