The seventh acquisition in Fura's freight brokerage roll-up is in focus Tuesday as the Cincinnati-based, AI-powered third-party logistics provider takes on Vancouver, Washington-based High Rise Logistics.
High Rise brings flatbed, expedited, truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, drayage and warehousing capacity into Fura's network, extending the buyer's Pacific Northwest footprint.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Seven closings, one repeatable model Fura's approach is to acquire established regional freight brokers and migrate them onto a shared automation stack.
The stated goal is to magnify scale by layering technology and automation onto each acquired operation rather than stacking overhead costs.
