Nex Playground Drops to $239 for Prime Day as RAMageddon Holds the Line on Consumer Electronics Pricing

The Nex Playground motion-gaming console is available at $239 across Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy during Amazon's Prime Day event — a $60 reduction from its current $299 MSRP, but still $40 above the pre-crisis prices consumers saw before the RAM supply disruption that hit in April.

The deal marks a return to the console's original launch price of $250, landing just below it, and signals how broadly the so-called RAMageddon has reset the floor on consumer electronics.
