A 2-gigawatt development pipeline in Poland and Hungary changes hands as Public Power Corporation, the Greek integrated utility known as PPC, finalizes terms to acquire ABO Energy's two subsidiaries in those markets.
The deal also covers five operating solar parks with a combined 82 megawatts of capacity and a 17-megawatt farm approaching completion.
No financial terms were disclosed; the transaction requires regulatory approval before closing, which both parties expect before the end of the year. What PPC is acquiring The package is substantial on paper.
Alongside the roughly 2-gigawatt pipeline, PPC takes on 38 ABO Energy staff currently working across Poland and Hungary. Among the operating assets is the Szarvas solar park in Hungary, commissioned in 2024.
