The project targets children's health disparities in the area and is being positioned as a national model for impact-driven real estate redevelopment.

From Retail Vacancy to Medical Infrastructure The site, a former Macy's anchor — the category of big-box retail tenant whose departure has hollowed out shopping centers across the country — will be reborn as a specialty healthcare facility operated under the Children's Health banner.

At 42,000 square feet, the footprint is substantial for a community-facing medical center, repurposing existing built space rather than adding new construction to the market.
