BevZero's US operations are now part of Strategic Beverage Services, the Santa Rosa, California-based dealcoholisation processor that says the combination makes it the nation's largest provider of that service.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The next window is the company's planned facility expansion, which it has set for next year.
What the deal includes Patrick Morgan, Strategic Beverage Services' chief operating officer, said the transaction covers all of BevZero's US assets: three spinning cone vacuum distillation columns along with related tanks and equipment.
The company also acquired the US franchise rights from BevZero International, which is now focusing its expansion efforts on Europe. The combined operation will split across two brands.
