The setup for Best Buy's 2026 holiday season carries more weight than usual.
Based on a three-year pattern, the retailer's official Black Friday Sale is projected to open on or around Thursday, November 19, with early doorbusters expected around Halloween.
Black Friday itself lands on November 27, the one date Best Buy has already confirmed on its own calendar. The 2024 and 2025 playbooks track closely and set the baseline.
In 2024, Best Buy started dropping doorbusters on November 8, launched the official sale on November 21, and ran Cyber Monday on December 1.
