Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in the second half as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 in overtime. The victory moves Baltimore to a 4-1 record. It grants the team sole possession of first place in the AFC North. Atlanta drops to 2-3.

Starter Lamar Jackson left the contest with an injured ankle, forcing a significant personnel shift. Huntley replaced Jackson. He faced a difficult first half. The Atlanta defense recorded four sacks and numerous pressures against the Ravens' offensive line. Despite these struggles, Huntley found his footing in the second half. He accounted for all three of Baltimore's touchdowns. His performance included clutch plays with both his arm and his legs during the final drive of regulation that tied the game.

The Falcons' offense remained competitive throughout the contest. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. led the effort. He converted several third-down conversions in the second half to sustain drives. Running back Bijan Robinson finished with over 100 yards from scrimmage. Wide receiver Drake London led Atlanta's receiving corps with seven catches for 118 yards. Tight end Kyle Pitts also contributed with five receptions for 42 yards, including an eight-yard score in the first half.

The balance shifted late in the fourth quarter. Penix took a hit to the ribs and was unable to finish. Backup quarterback Tua Tagovailoa entered the game. He initially managed one play before assuming full control in overtime. Tagovailoa drove the Falcons into scoring position. He then sealed Atlanta's loss by throwing an interception to Baltimore safety Kyle Hamilton.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski will face questions about how the Falcons handled their opportunity to secure a victory against a Baltimore team playing without its starting quarterback. The result cements the Ravens' current standing in their division while leaving Atlanta searching for answers after falling to 2-3 on the season.
