Aquestive Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AQST) named Rich Daly to its Board of Directors, a move effective October 14, 2026. The appointment expands the board to eight members, seven of whom are independent under Nasdaq standards.

Daly joins with over three decades of biopharmaceutical leadership experience, primarily in commercial and operating roles. He currently leads Global Rare Disease at Angelini Pharma S.p.A., having previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which Angelini acquired. At Catalyst, Daly managed commercial activities, including the U.S. launch of Agamree. His earlier career includes senior positions at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited and AstraZeneca, where he directed the U.S. Diabetes business and oversaw the launches of Farxiga and Myalept.

Daniel Barber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aquestive, stated that Daly’s background in building commercial organizations will support preparations for the potential FDA-approved launch of Anaphylm. Gregory B. Brown, M.D., Chairman of the Board, added that Daly’s experience guiding companies through acquisitions and integrations is a valuable addition as Aquestive moves into its next phase.

Daly said he is joining at a critical time for Anaphylm, a sublingual film for Type I allergic reactions including anaphylaxis. The company is also developing AQST-108, an epinephrine topical gel for dermatological conditions. Aquestive functions as both a product developer and a contract manufacturing organization for licensees. Its operations are based in New Jersey, with manufacturing capabilities in Indiana, supporting four commercialized products sold globally using its PharmFilm technology.
