Columbia Seligman Premium Technology Growth Fund, Inc. (NYSE: STK) declared a fourth-quarter distribution of $0.4625 per share, equal to a 9.25% annualized rate based on the fund's 2009 offering price of $20.00. The payment, sourced entirely from net realized long-term capital gains, will be made on October 27, 2026, to shareholders of record as of October 19, 2026.

The distribution represents a quarterly rate of 2.3125% of the fund's initial public offering price. Measured against the fund's market price of $53.77 per share as of September 30, 2026, the payout equates to a quarterly rate of 0.8601%, or 3.44% annualized. The ex-dividend date for the transaction is also set for October 19, 2026.

The fund anticipates making a subsequent distribution in February and expects to issue another distribution before the end of the year to avoid federal excise taxes applicable to funds that do not distribute all annual income and net gains by fiscal year-end. The current managed distribution policy allows the fund to distribute long-term capital gains more than once per taxable year, a change from its previous level rate policy. This flexibility was enabled by exemptive relief received from the Securities and Exchange Commission in October 2010.

Year-to-date distributions through the current payment date total $1.85 per share, with 100% of the amount attributed to net realized long-term capital gains. No portion of the distributions paid in 2026 is currently estimated to be a return of capital or from net investment income and short-term capital gains. The fund noted that while current estimates show no return of capital, this composition could change based on investment experience during the remainder of the fiscal year. These figures are estimates and not intended for tax reporting purposes; final tax treatment will be detailed on Form 1099-DIV.

Performance data as of September 30, 2026, shows an average annual total return at net asset value (NAV) of 23.82% for the five-year period ended on that date. The cumulative total return at NAV for the year-to-date period reached 55.36%. The annualized distribution rate as a percentage of the September 30, 2026, NAV price was 3.23%, while the distribution rate for the year-to-date period was 2.42% of that NAV price.
