Mr. Lauber brings over 40 years of experience in finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and global operations. Prior to his retirement earlier in 2026, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of A. O. Smith from 2019 to 2026. During his 27-year tenure at A. O. Smith, he oversaw global financial operations and contributed to the company's long-term growth strategy. Before joining A. O. Smith in 1999, Mr. Lauber spent 15 years with Ernst & Young LLP, advancing to the role of Senior Manager where he advised public and private companies on accounting, audit, tax, and financial reporting matters.

Currently, Mr. Lauber serves on the Board of Directors of H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL), where he holds memberships on both the Audit Committee and the Personnel & Compensation Committee. His expertise spans capital allocation, strategic planning, investor relations, executive compensation, and enterprise risk management. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Jim Ferland, Chairman of Enerpac Tool Group, commented on the appointment by noting that Mr. Lauber's extensive financial leadership and public company governance experience will be a significant asset to the board.
