The setup
STKE's validator base held 3.4 million SOL of assets under delegation at June 30, down from 3.8 million SOL at the March quarter-end. The company maintained 100% uptime across more than 33,000 unique wallets. Orangefin earned a 5.84% average APY in June against a Solana network average of 5.53%, and STKE serves as sole staking provider to the VanEck Solana ETF. STKESOL, a liquid staking product, held approximately 646,000 SOL across 1,300 or more wallets at quarter-end. Zyga, a zero-knowledge proving system acquired from Darklake's assets in April, is being evaluated for integration across Houdini's wallet and exchange distribution.
The owned treasury held 459,792 SOL at June 30, roughly 4.5 times the 100,746 SOL on hand at the FY24 pivot, with approximately 205,620 SOL staked to company-operated validators at around 6% annually. STKE financed Houdini's cash consideration by pledging 252,851 SOL to Kamino at a roughly 3% variable rate against C$13.9 million of borrowings, with a 75% liquidation threshold. A $5.75 million seller-note payment is due December 1.
Shares outstanding rose approximately 72% from 23.0 million at September 30, 2025 to 39.5 million by mid-August, through a combination of LIFE financing, ATM issuance, convertible conversions, and acquisition consideration. A report from Exec Edge noted STKE trades at approximately 2.6x Street FY27E revenue of C$24.5 million, sourced from TIKR, against an average of 6.6x for selected peers Coinbase, Circle Internet Group, and Securitize, which trade between 5.4x and 8.2x. The report cited a Street consensus target of $2.80, with any multiple convergence dependent on sustained Houdini margins, AuD stabilization, and demonstrated operating leverage. STKE carried a market capitalization of $46.6 million at $1.18 per share at the time of the report.
What to watch: the September quarter print on Houdini's first full three-month contribution and margin durability, and the $5.75 million seller-note payment due December 1.
