The technology sector led the rally, with the XLK ETF advancing. AI chipmakers Intel and AMD were among the top performers, while Meta shares climbed more than 5%. Tesla also gained during the session.
In digital assets, Bitcoin rose more than 5% to trade above $85,000. Ether followed suit, gaining approximately 5%. The move in cryptocurrencies coincided with the drop in oil prices, which reduced inflation fears and drew renewed investor interest to digital assets.
Yahoo Finance noted that Strategy, Coinbase, and Critical Mines were among the stocks receiving high viewer attention during the morning trading hours.
